Good question, actually. I think it’s the best in terms of what makes a laptop useful to a pro user. First criterion would be power, and then the second would be portability. Some gaming laptops are pretty powerful, but they weigh 9 pounds and they’re the size of a baking sheet. The new MacBook Pro weighs just over 4 pounds, has up to an 8-core processor and 64 gigs of memory, etc. No thermal issues, an excellent keyboard, a beautiful screen, etc. Everything works; it has no weaknesses, unlike all of Apple’s other laptops of the past 4 or 5 years. There’s not a lot that can match its features and design, and nothing I know of that does it at such a manageable size. If there’s something I’m overlooking, I’d love to know about it.
